Prince-related

Prince.Org - The biggest and most popular site for fans of the musical genius of Prince. This site has all the latest Princely news as well as chatrooms and discussion forums. As with all big sites - it has some very nice people there, but a few weirdos too.

Housequake - A smaller site, but friendly. Very quick with news, and a good mix of Europeans and Americans. A great resource.

Princefams - Another smaller Prince fan community, but very welcoming and friendly.

Games Industry

GamaSutra - A great site for game developers. Particularly interesting for the post-mortem articles.

Gamesindustry.biz - Industry news, from the same folk that do Eurogamer.

Gamedevelopers.ie - Irish games development site.

IGDA - the International Game Developers Association.

DundeeJam - I run a series of fun events for game developers to make simple, fun games.

Scottishgames.biz - An excellent games industry news site with a Scottish slant

Denki - This is where I work. We have developed some fun little games for interactive digital TV, GBA, mobile phones, PC and Xbox 360.

Games

Llamasoft - Website of Jeff Minter, and has some very friendly forums for games discussion and gaming programming. A really nice little community where I post when I have time.

Rllmuk - Lots of dedicated gamers here, refugees from the now-defunct Edge forums. A weird mix of savvy experienced gamers, obsessive importers and collectors, industry folk such as developers and journos, as well as some silly fanboy kids. It's good fun!

Penny Arcade - Brilliant gamer-oriented web comic.

Way of the Rodent - A very well-written internet mag that talks about the fabulous games of yesteryear. Fabulous, highly recommended.

UK Resistance - A satirical games news site run by Gary Cutlack aka Commander Zorg. It is very funny, and they love Sega probably more than anyone really should.

Kotaku - A sort of gamer blog, great for news

Eurogamer - a UK website for gamers - news, reviews, previews. I know some of the guys that write for this site and they do a great job - highly recommended.

Other Music Sites

Public Enemy - The official PE website, with Chuck D's Terrordome articles and great discussion. Shouts out to my Enemy Board friends, and Mistachuck himself.

Okayplayer - The site run by ?uestlove & Co for some of the greatest independent hiphop and soul artists today. I give this site 5 afro-combs!

Terence Trent D'arby - He now prefers to be known as Sananda but his music is still great. This site has all the news and downloads.

Other Sites

WRASAC Dundee - Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre Dundee. A very worthy organisation, and my wife made the website.
